BACKWATER TRIPS

These trips are taken aboard “The 229.” These trips have a 4 person limit. If you have kids, please let us know and we can make appropriate accommodations. All bait, tackle, licenses, ice, and fish cleaning are included in our charter rates. Our rates are for your party, not per person. We recommend you bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, seasickness medicine (if needed), cash for gratuities, water & snacks, and a camera to remember your trip. Early morning trips might be a little chilly before the sun gets up, so a light jacket might not be a bad idea to bring. We have coolers for fish and drinks in all our boats, but you might want to have a cooler in your car to put your catch in something.

These trips are especially great for people looking to go fishing, but maybe not commit to being out on the open ocean. Backwater trips are very relaxing with cell coverage still being available if you need to contact someone and these trips make bathroom stops easy if it is necessary. This trip gives you a chance to discover the mystical marsh grasses of our local area and see wildlife in their natural habitat.

Backwater trips are an additional $50 for the 4th angler. Listed prices are for up to 3 fishermen.

1/2 Day Backwater (4 Hours)—$450

We recommend you bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, seasickness medicine (if needed), cash for gratuities, water & snacks, and a camera to remember your trip. Nearshore trips are for the one that wants to get out on the ocean, but doesn’t want to commit to going far offshore and still wishes to be in sight of land. Offshore trips are for the one that wants to get away from land and potentially get on some bigger species of trophy fish or bottom fish on the reef. For the adventurous ones, an offshore trip might be best for you. Ask your captain about what they think is best for your party.

Weather conditions are everchanging and are critical to keeping your party safe. To increase your chances of comfortable weather nearshore or offshore we recommend you have a couple of days open in your schedule to fish and we can choose a day that is best. Ask your captain what day they think is best.
