Bottom Trip

Can’t beat a day of both great weather and great fishing! Capt Hook and I took a bottom trip with Forrest Taylor, Brian Richard, and Ben Canady. We started out fishing in about 110 feet of water and caught some massive Bliners! We were only able to get a few, as well as some keeper black sea bass and triggerfish before getting eaten up by sharks. We caught multiple sharks and then decided to head out a little further. We ventured out to 170-190 feet of water and found some very nice grouper! These consisted of scamp, and an almost 30 pound Gag! We were also fortunate enough to have several schools of mahi mahi swim up to the boat. We threw out pitch baits and managed to top off our catch with 7 dolphin! It was a great day on the water!
