Weekend Wrap Up

I ran a couple of trips over the weekend, and caught some very nice flounder and redfish. The water is heating up to the high 60s and rapidly rising. Large striper minnows have showed up on the sandbars at low tide and those are they key to getting bigger flounder and redfish to bite. On the other hand, its a shock how many spots are in our waters right now. It has been a cold spring until the past week, and that has turned all kinds of fish on. The gulf stream fishing is also heating up with water temps around 75 in the Steeples area. The next couple of weeks should start to improve both inshore and offshore!
